NMP Charitable Trust, established on 19.05.2011, since then the organization has been expanding continuously in terms of social and Educational Development and Medical service, Food, and employment-related help to needy local people. It has been working for the promotion of downtrodden, needy, sustainable, equitable, and participatory development, social welfare, and social justice through: Programs for economically needy people for their children’s education, social work, assisting employees of the company, public for their children’s “Educational” support relief and education to the people, Health service and other human service through social research and dissemination of socially relevant knowledge, social intervention through training and field action, contribution to social and welfare policy at local level in around Chidambaram town and near-by villages over the Years. , The Trust has made a significant contribution to planning, and action strategies for its employees’ children to pay school fees and Human Resource Development in several areas, ranging from sustainable rural and urban development to education, and health, in all cases, the focus has been on the disadvantaged, needy and marginalized section of societies, such as women, children, and employees.

The NMP Charitable Trust:
The Trust is a “Non-Profit Organization ” and the organization registered Under section 12A(1)(aa), of the Income Tax Act., 1961 Government of India in the year 2011. The Trust was registered under the Indian Trusts Act., 1882 Govt. of Tamil Nadu, India.

To be a welfare oriented and support provider to the needy employees and extend support to the economically down trodden society people in the vicinity of the Kasthuribai company at Chidambaram.
To serve employees community and their family in their children development and their family development to bring in change in quality of life in their lives through education to their children.

- Giving social awareness, supporting the government and the public during natural calamities, and igniting young school children through activities.

Shri. Vivekanandan Muthukumar
Chairman cum Managing Director
The trust is managed by Shri. Vivekanandan Muthukumar, the Chairman is known for his excellence in understanding the problems of the rural poor communities. He hails from a farming community and has spent most of his childhood and studies in and around Chidambaram and its nearby villages. He is popular among the poor communities as a man with a humane heart, very compassionate, and can be looked up to in times of need for the needy people. His primary objective is to make the Trust participate actively in the sphere of social and community service with educational development among poor families and its employee children.
He visualizes that education is the ‘right’ of everyone, and he believes that education plays a fundamental role in human, social, and economic development. His contribution has shown relentless dedication to making life better for children of disadvantaged communities by providing them with an education that will enable them to have a better future. He bridges the gaps in formal education and opportunities by providing underprivileged children to continue their education and supporting them with scholarships for higher education. He is an innovative, social initiative, need-based supporting personality and in sensitization activities. The Chairman is ably assisted by Mrs. Srividya MuthuKumar – Trustee.
